In considering whether to apply for the NLDP, consider the following questions:
  • Why are you interested in being part of a new community culture of leadership that is bringing positive and productive change to Cleveland?

  • Do you understand and accept that change is a long-term prospect and you must be committed to leading change efforts on a long-term basis?

  • Do you understand that you have a capacity to grow and that you are intentionally deciding to gain new knowledge and receive coaching that will help you develop your leadership skills through an intentional process?

  • Are you interested in connecting to people who can help you lead?

  • How are you committed to becoming more effective at making change?

  • Can you describe how you will give back and pass on things you have learned with other leaders?
